Insurance Systems Inc. (ISI), a leading provider of web-based enterprise solutions for the property/casualty insurance industry, is pleased to announce Golden Bear Insurance Company (Golden Bear) has successfully implemented WebWriter Enterprise to handle complete insurance processing for all of the company’s personal lines business.

Golden Bear’s personal lines business went live with all modules of the WebWriter Enterprise solution including policy administration, claims, billing, reinsurance and accounting at the first of March. Golden Bear plans to rollout support for their commercial lines business as the next phase of implementation.

“We are excited about the implementation and the increased ability it gives the company to serve existing customers and write new business,” said Brett Harvey, assistant vice president of information technology for Golden Bear. “We selected ISI and the WebWriter Enterprise product because it has everything we need to run our business in one box, all on a modern platform.”

WebWriter Enterprise is a fully-integrated, browser-based property/casualty policy administration suite which includes all modules that allow insurance companies to run their businesses effectively. In addition to the core processing modules for policy administration, claims, billing, accounting and reinsurance, WebWriter Enterprise includes various supporting sub-systems such as rating, document production, CRM, workflow and reporting.

“We are very pleased to mark this milestone with Golden Bear,” said David Hanley, vice president of business development and operations for ISI. “This successful implementation is a great example to small and mid-sized carriers that they really can have the best of both worlds; enterprise-wide functionality on a modern, configurable platform.”
